TronLink, EPIRB 4.2.0 (or newer) is required software for Tron 60S/GPS with C/S approval number (TAC) exceeding 40000/16384
As previously informed in “Technical Bulletin TB06-2020” from November 2020, Jotron urged their Maritime partners to download the latest version of TronLink, EPIRB – available here.
During the month of May 2021, Jotron has shipped Tron 60S/GPS with serial numbers exceeding 40000/16384. These EPIRBs require the latest programming software to avoid incorrect code with C/S approval 222 instead of the correct 334.
