Tron TR30 AIR handheld AM radio has received MED-B certification in accordance with the latest Implementing Regulation (4th update) of the Marine Equipment Directive (MED). The designated MED-B Certificate is according to MED/5.16.
“Tron TR30 AIR was released in 2019 and is still the world’s only emergency VHF AM handheld radio, designed and approved according to the IMO MSC.80(70). We are pleased to have received MED-B and other national type approvals, in addition to the positive market response,” says Vegar Pettersen, Sales and Marketing Director at Jotron.
