10th February 2022 – From July 1st, 2022, the IMO and SOLAS requirements MSC.471(101), will become mandatory. This new performance standard for float-free EPIRB’s operating on 406 MHz, enable improved functionality that will offer quicker SAR response and ability to locate the vessel and crew in distress.
