The new communications systems, provided by Aquila and designed and manufactured by its partner Jotron, will be used to assist UK MOD operations on the island. Aquila provides ground-to-air solutions and servicing in some of the most remote parts of the world. This volcanic but beautiful mid-Atlantic island is no exception.
Jotron VHF radios, UHF radios (including automatic tunable cavity filters) and Remote Radio Controllers (RRC) were some of the communications equipment sent to support the UK Ministry of Defence operations in the South Atlantic.
