Become a Shore Based Maintenance (SBM) partner
Your local Jotron sales representative, in cooperation with the Jotron support department will guide and assist in this application procedure.

SBM authorization guide - requirements:
Start by documenting your quality system, routines, and facilities. Make sure you have the necessary equipment to perform SBM activities. Participate in Jotron’s SBM online training course(s) to strengthen your skills.
Jotron must receive the below list of completed documentation:
- The SBM application form.
- A valid ISO and / or Class Society Certificate regarding servicing operation. If not available, please document servicing operation for Jotron AS to approve.
- Valid test equipment calibration certificates.
- Online learning certificate(s). (Download the SBM qualification form to see Jotron’s range of interactive training courses.)
- Photos of the water tank.
- Photos of the tools needed to perform SBM, like bracket, radio receiver and shielded box / room. (For more information download the SBM tools document.)
- Photos of workshop facilities with antistatic equipment, like wristband and antistatic mat.
Jotron will verify the content upon receiving the above documentation. If any information is missing, you will be notified. Once the application is approved, you will receive your SBM Qualification Certificate, valid for two years. Your company will also be listed as an SBM partner on this website.
